Over the past 10 years, I have had the opportunity in creating and maintaining safe queer spaces through outreach, advocacy and psychotherapy. My work with trans folks of all ages has given me insight into the realities of HRT, treatments, transition expectations increased with tension of every-day concerns.

I have worked in rural and metropolitan areas; this has provided first hand experiences working with chronic illnesses, substance use, complex trauma and victims of crime. My trauma-informed, person-first approach allows us to collaborate on goals that are relevant to your needs and wants while being culturally mindful in combination with building emotional regulation skills.

I am looking forward to meeting, even for a 15-minute consult, to see if this will be the right fit for you.

Hello! By getting to this point in your research for finding a clinician, I would already like to commend your courage. My hope is that you can connect with a mental health care professional that you believe meets your unique needs.

The approach that I try and take with all clients is to lean on a mixture of experience, education, trainings, and some innate elements favourable to rapport-building. What this can look like is the creation of a non-judgemental, open, and honest space most conducive to healing. CBT, solution-focused therapy, DBT, strengths-based therapy, and mindfulness are all approaches I look to apply in the therapy room.

If you are interested in connecting, feel free to reach out and we can have a free consultation call. In this call, we can get to know each other better and I can answer questions you may have about the process. Thank you.
